Land clearing for building sites, pasture, and access

We take down trees, brush, and stumps and leave you with ground you can use.

Whether you are opening up a homesite, reclaiming pasture, or running a new fence line, we clear trees, brush, stumps, and debris and leave you with ground you can actually use. Every job is scoped around what you want the land to do, then matched to the method that gets you there without wrecking what you want to keep.

Most clearing jobs combine methods: push or pull larger trees with the excavator, mulch or chip the small material, grub out stumps where they would interfere with construction, and pile or haul the debris. We walk the property with you and spell out which method goes where, and what it costs, before any work starts.

Good for

  • Homesites, shop pads, and barn locations
  • Pasture, hay ground, and food plots
  • Fence lines and property boundaries
  • Driveways, access roads, and utility corridors
  • Overgrown lots and storm cleanup

How it goes

  1. Step 1: Walk the property

We look at the land in person or from your photos, mark the work area with you, and note everything that stays.

  2. Step 2: Pick the method

Push and pile, grapple and haul, chip, or mulch in place. We choose what fits the trees, terrain, and your budget.

  3. Step 3: Clear and finish

Trees down, stumps out where needed, debris handled the way we agreed, and the ground left in workable shape.

  4. Step 4: Walk it again

We do a final walkthrough with you before we call the job done.

What affects the price

We do not publish flat prices for land work, because no two properties are alike. These are the things that move your bid.

  • Size of the area and how dense the trees and brush are
  • Tree diameters and the number of stumps
  • What happens to the debris: pile and burn where allowed, haul off, chip, or mulch
  • Terrain, slope, wet ground, and equipment access
  • Distance to the job site

Questions

What is the difference between land clearing and forestry mulching?

Land clearing removes trees, stumps, and debris from the site. It is the right choice when you need bare, graded ground for a foundation, pond, or driveway. Forestry mulching grinds vegetation in place and leaves a layer of wood mulch, which is faster and gentler on the soil but does not remove stumps below grade. We will recommend whichever fits your plans.

Do I need a permit?

Rules vary by county, city, and use. Burning, creek and floodplain buffers, and building-site clearing can all involve permits. We flag the common ones during the site visit, but the landowner is responsible for confirming local requirements.

Can you save the good trees?

Yes. Tell us what you want to keep and we will mark it before work begins. Trees you flag stay, and we work around them.

What happens to the brush piles?

It depends on the bid. We can pile for burning where allowed, chip or mulch it on site, or haul it off. Each option costs differently, so your bid spells out which one you are getting.
