What we collect

• Bid requests and messages: your name, email, phone number, property address, the work you describe, any photos you attach, and how you prefer to be contacted.
• Rental bookings: your name, contact details, address, how you plan to use the equipment, your experience level, your tow vehicle if you give it, the rental agreement text, your typed name and drawn signature, and the date, time, network address (IP address), and browser details of the signature.
• Basic technical data: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.

How we use it

To reply to you, prepare bids, review and manage rentals, send you a copy of your signed agreement, collect payment, keep business and tax records, and protect against fraud and abuse. We do not sell your information.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that help us run the site and the business, such as web hosting, a database, and email delivery. They may handle your information only to provide those services to us. We may also share information when the law requires it or to protect our rights, for example if equipment is not returned.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep rental agreements and booking records for as long as we need them for business, legal, and tax reasons. We keep bid requests and messages for as long as they are useful to answer you and to run the business.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete information we are not required to keep, by writing to sales@thorthomas.com.
